I started my solo consulting business in 2001 and struggled for 3 years - I hit every brick wall, every dead end.


I made every mistake in the book - and I made the good ones TWICE 🤓


In 2008, I was in $40,000 of credit card debt and had a serious talk with myself. It’s either FIX this or get a J-O-B.


So I fixed it...

  • By 2010, I was earning six figures
  • By 2011, the debt was gone
  • By 2013, I was at $250K/year revenue
  • By 2015, we reached $500K and the same in 2016
  • Uh-oh - the dreaded "plateau" phase

But the story doesn't end there...

Then in 2017, we broke the 7-figure mark and I was invited to join the National Speakers Association’s Million Dollar Speakers Group (yes, they check your financials and you submit your tax records to be verified.)


In 2020, we clocked in at $1.5 million (with a fabulous team of 9 people here so don’t get excited - it’s not what you earn, it’s what you keep, right?)


In 2021, we hit $1.9 million and we're going further and faster with a 30% or more growth rate right now.


After 5 years of running a 7-figure expert business, you learn a thing or two along the way.

As a speaker and consultant myself, I earned my Certified Speaking Professional designation from the National Speakers Association in 2014 and joined the NSA Million Dollar Speakers Group in 2017. I served as Chair of the MDSG for 2021-2022.
